About Us

Lakewood Elks Lodge exterior at night with American flag. — Lakewood Elks Lodge #2388
Lakewood Elks Lodge exterior at night with American flag.

Since its charter, Lakewood Elks Lodge #2388 has been a place where working people show up for each other. The two-story facility on 75th Street West sits on a generous lot with parking that can handle a crowd, and the main banquet hall delivers exactly what you need for a big night: a wide-open floor, a dedicated dance floor, and enough square footage to host 100-plus guests without anyone feeling squeezed.

The lodge runs on volunteers and elected officers who genuinely care about Lakewood, WA and the surrounding Pierce County communities. Members contribute thousands of volunteer hours each year to youth scholarships, veterans' support programs, and local charitable drives. When you rent this hall or pull up a stool at the bar, you're directly funding that work.

Regular visitors mention the clean, chill environment, the solid food, and a bar staff that keeps things friendly. The venue is straightforward and honest, no pretense, just a good room with good people and a kitchen that can handle a serious spread.

What We Offer

The banquet hall rental is the flagship offering. With a capacity that comfortably fits 100-plus guests, a large dance floor, and a full-service bar, the space works for milestone birthday parties, retirement celebrations, wedding receptions, reunions, and corporate events. The office team handles coordination, and the on-site bartenders and waitstaff have been praised by recent renters for being easy to work with and genuinely friendly.

Lodge membership opens the door to weekly dinners, social nights, dart leagues, and a members-only lounge where you can grab a drink at honest prices. Members also gain access to the national Elks network, including reciprocal visiting privileges at over 1,800 lodges across the country.

Beyond events, the lodge actively runs community grant programs supporting youth activities and veterans' services throughout the Lakewood area. If you're looking for a way to plug into local philanthropy without writing a check and walking away, this is the place.

"I held my husband's 50th birthday party here, we had over 100 guests. The office team, bartender, waitstaff were so easy to work with and friendly. The venue is huge and the parking lot is large too, able to accommodate all that came. The food is all fresh and the portions are huge. The whole family can come for dinner. Bathrooms are big and clean."

"The Banquet hall is just decent with a great Dancefloor and thats about it on the good. The manager in charge of events is stuck up at all and is outright MEAN. Would not open the venue even a minute early for service providers to set up... understandable if there was no one available in the venue but staff were present, venue not in use but they wont let you in to set up even a minute early. At the end of the event they also chase you out like dogs... be out at the exact time your booking ends. If youre a service provider and need to set up, These guys will set you up for failure."

Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
